Despite being a modern day trend, electric bikes - well at least the concept, has been around since the late 19th Century. The idea was conceived by Hosea Libbey using a ‘double electric motor’.
Since then, eBikes have been designed with a purpose of creating a more eco-friendly, practical and cost-effective mode of transportation.
There are multiple types of eBikes, each suited to their designated environment/terrain. For example:
- MTB eBikes: made for the thrill seeking adventurers. These bikes allow you to hit the tracks quicker and easier.
- Hybrid eBikes: made for those who cycle as a hobby; an eBike makes the journey more enjoyable and efficient, creating a comfortable effortless experience.
- Commuting eBikes: a practical solution for those who commute to work; reducing journey times and saving money.
